Job summary

Nordico Lounge, part of Loungers plc, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. The role supports the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping deliver great shifts and ensuring every dish leaves the pass to spec. This is a kitchen-first opportunity for growth within our expanding Casual Dining Group.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food & drinks from day one, with opportunities to grow through our career pathways and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen with fresh ingredients.
• Strong hygiene and food safety practices.
• Able to work as part of a team and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Take ownership of your section, prep, par and hygiene.
• Follow allergen processes and keep kitchen compliant and safe.
• Help develop others and ensure each plate meets specs.
