Varo Lounge, a brand-new site from Loungers, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the opening kitchen team. Youll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring every dish leaving the pass is something to be proud of and that prep, hygiene and allergen standards are upheld.

This is an exciting chance to grow with a successful restaurant group, with opportunities across England and Wales as Loungers expands its portfolio.

Qualificações

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (hot and cold prep, cleaning, knife skills, hygiene).
• Able to demonstrate food safety and allergen knowledge.
• Natural team player, leads from the front and supports others.

Responsabilidades

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure dishes go out to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards on every shift.
• Take ownership of your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance and safety.
• Help develop teammates’ skills and confidence within the kitchen.
