Job summary

KYN Hurlingham in London is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for a permanent, 40-hour week at £20.30 per hour. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high quality, nutritious dishes, while upholding our standards of cleanliness and food safety for residents.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, strong communication and an eye for detail, and can step in to manage the kitchen and stock when needed, ensuring menus meet agreed specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering and maintaining kitchen standards, in a hospitality setting.
• Experience in a similar hospitality venue.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high quality, nutritious dishes.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Manage stock in the absence of senior chefs or during peak periods.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across kitchen and dining areas.
