Job summary

High Horse, part of Dodo Pub Co., is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Newbury. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day operations, helping us deliver our Neapolitan pizzas and burgers with passion.

You'll thrive under pressure, communicate clearly, and lead by example to maintain high standards and support your team as we celebrate great food and community in our neighbourhood pub setting.

Junior Sous Chef – High Horse

£13.70 per hour

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our crew!

From the kitchen

We serve authentic Neapolitan pizzas cooked at 450°C in our pizza oven, alongside tasty burgers, brunch dishes, and sides that hit the spot.

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You’ll be calm under pressure, a great communicator, and an inspiring leader who is committed to delivering high standards and supporting your team.
