Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity at a prestigious University College for a Junior Sous Chef. You will join a talented brigade, assisting the Head Chef in serving fresh food to fellows, staff and students in fine dining, banqueting and college cafe settings.

The role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. You should be a CDP or Junior Sous Chef with experience in a high-volume all-fresh food kitchen, able to work unsupervised and as part of a team, with good attention

Qualifications

• CDP or Junior Sous Chef with all fresh food hotel kitchen experience.
• Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Experience in busy all fresh food kitchen.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ambitious and career oriented.
• NVQ Level 3 qualified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs and support them and the Sous.
• Working in the kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients
• Preparing and plating meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner serice and functions

Excellent role in University College Kitchen - Straight Shifts - 2 weekends off per month Junior Sous Chef.A Fantastic opportunity has arisen at this prestigious college for a Chef. As part of a talented brigade you will be assist the Head Chef in serving all fresh food to fellows, VIPs, staff and students. The role will invole preparing meals for fine dining, high end banqueting and college cafe/restauarnts. The role is 37.5 hours per week with shifts on a rota basis

The Role
