AVEVA in Derry/Londonderry is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join the 3DVis Cloud team. You will contribute to 3D visualization and XR cloud streaming technologies within AVEVA's industrial software portfolio.

The role is hybrid, full-time, and offers a collaborative SAFe environment with code reviews, automated tests and CI/CD practices. You will work closely with engineers and DevOps to deliver sprint commitments and customer value.

Competenze

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a technical or security-related role.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Foundational experience in or understanding of software development using C#.
• Basic understanding of OOP, Unit Testing, SOLID and DRY principles.

Mansioni

• Implement defined features, bug fixes and user stories following team standards.
• Contribute to the stability and robustness of our software by applying industry best practices when delivering work items.
• Collaborate with fellow software developers, SDET’s and DevOps engineers to clarify requirements, break down work, and deliver sprint commitments.
• Write and maintain automated unit tests and support continuous integration by investigating failures and improving code coverage.
• Support the deployment and development of our software by debugging issues, improving logging and diagnostic capabilities.
• Assist with maintaining our production systems by helping investigate production issues, contributing well scoped fixes, and implementing preventative improvements such as improved diagnostics and automated tests in the areas you work on
