Job summary

AVEVA, a global software leader, is seeking a Cloud Developer to join the AVEVA Unified Supply Chain R&D team. You will help build and evolve critical infrastructure supporting customer workflows, collaborating with a passionate development team to deliver robust, scalable solutions across Azure-based platforms.

You will contribute to infrastructure design, handle production issues, and advance automation through IaC and scripting.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and evolving cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or similar.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience with core Azure services: compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely in a team environment to deliver high quality improvements to existing infrastructure platform.

You will work as part of an enthusiastic and engaged development team to build robust and reliable solutions.,

• Collaborate closely in a team environment to deliver high quality improvements to existing infrastructure platform
• Contribute to design of infrastructure improvements, balancing robust technical solutions with business value
• Diagnose and fix issues affecting production infrastructure, supported by experienced colleagues
• Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) development
• Proficiency in scripting with Powershell or similar
• Experience and understanding of core Azure services: compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics
• A proactive self‑starting approach, owning work through to production
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Hybrid working We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection.
