Job summary

RTL Group Ltd, in partnership with our client, is seeking a motivated Junior Site Engineer to support industrial and earthworks projects. You will assist with surveying, setting-out and checking against drawings.

You will help maintain QA documentation, as-built information and liaise with site management and engineering teams. A civil engineering qualification or relevant experience is required, with basic surveying knowledge and a full UK driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic surveying knowledge required.
• Setting-out knowledge expected.
• Understanding of earthworks and construction levels helpful.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveying and setting out.
• Survey and check earthworks layers and levels.
• Mark out and record testing points.
• Assist with compaction and material testing.
• Check works against drawings and specifications.
• Maintain survey records, QA documentation and as-built information.
• Support the site management and engineering teams.
