Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support Civil engineering rail projects across the UK. The role focuses on setting out with total station and GPS, overseeing earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases, and collaborating with the project management team on site.

You will supervise on site, ensure safety compliance, maintain documentation, and drive works to meet programme and spec.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• PTS Card required on site.
• Strong communication skills and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using total station & GPS on site.
• Work alongside the project management team on site.
• Site supervision and safety compliance.
• Ensure works are carried out to agreed methodology and documentation.
• Ensure works are completed on time and to specification.
