Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support civil engineering projects across renewables. The role covers setting out using total stations and GPS, earthworks, ducting, troughs, and RC bases, working with the PM team and supervising site activities.

Applicants need a CSCS card, full UK driving licence, and solid communication skills; SMSTS/SSSTS is preferred to help ensure safety compliance and adherence to defined methodologies and timelines on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.
