Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Maidstone is seeking a Junior Service Engineer for full product training. You will shadow experienced engineers, service and repair vacuum packaging machinery and tabletop slicers at customer sites, and work in the workshop on refurbishments.

The role suits someone with a mechanical or electrical background, with a clear path to a Multi Skilled Engineer, covering a Southeast patch, and a Monday–Friday pattern with an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Junior / Trainee Service Engineer role with internal training and progression.
• Mechanical or electrical background is preferred.
• Progression into a Multi Skilled Engineer path is available.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repair of food production machinery at customer sites.
• Workshop repairs and refurbishments of equipment.
• Ongoing training through shadowing experienced engineers.
• Covering a local Southeast patch.
• On-call rota (1-in-5).
