Job summary

Back To Work is seeking a motivated Junior Security Analyst to join its technology and security team within a manufacturing environment. You will monitor threats, assist with vulnerability management and help protect production systems and sensitive information.

Working with IT and production teams, you will gain hands-on experience in threat monitoring, incident investigation, risk management and compliance while minimising disruption to manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across business and manufacturing systems using SIEM tools.
• Support investigation and escalation of security incidents, recording findings clearly.
• Assist with vulnerability identification and remediation coordination with IT and production teams.
• Carry out security checks on systems, networks and infrastructure under supervision.
• Maintain security records and help update policies and procedures.
• Support user access reviews and identity management for key systems.
• Assist with compliance with information security standards and data protection requirements.
• Support cyber security awareness activities for office and manufacturing colleagues.
• Contribute to risk assessments and identify weaknesses affecting information security or production continuity.
• Assist with endpoint and network security monitoring across the organisation.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and production teams and external security providers.
