Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Cyber Security Manufacturing Technology Engineer to protect OT/ICS across manufacturing environments. The role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations, engineering and cyber security, embedding security from design through operation.

You will shape practical controls, translate risk into business language, and work with multidisciplinary teams to protect production continuity and intellectual property.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement cyber security controls in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of industrial protocols, network segmentation and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continually improve cyber security controls for OT and manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate across IT, manufacturing and engineering to deliver reliable solutions.
• Assess vulnerabilities in manufacturing systems and guide remediation or compensating controls.
• Integrate security requirements into new production lines and equipment from the outset.
• Investigate cyber incidents and develop recovery approaches to reduce downtime.
• Support governance, risk and compliance with suppliers and third parties.
• Align with IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST CSF.
