Job summary

City Football Group in Manchester is seeking a Junior Scouting Data Analyst to help maintain the accuracy and structure of the internal scouting platform. You will perform data updates and quality checks using SQL, ensuring reliable records across a global user base.

Working closely with scouts, scout managers, and IT, you will translate issues into practical actions and documentation, supporting data operations in an elite football environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using SQL to extract, update and manipulate data with care and accuracy.
• Ability to investigate data issues, identify root causes and follow problems through to resolution.
• A proactive, improvement-minded approach to solving problems and refining processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out data updates, quality checks and troubleshooting using admin tools and SQL.
• Maintain clean, dependable records and support ongoing process improvements.
• Ensure the internal scouting platform data is accurate and consistently maintained.
• Collaborate with Scouts, Scout Managers and IT to translate issues into actions.
