Job summary

City Football Group in Manchester is seeking a data operations professional to ensure the internal scouting platform remains accurate, structured and reliable for decision-making across the network. You will perform data updates and quality checks using SQL, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain clean records while driving platform improvements for a global user base.

Collaborating with scouts, IT and internal teams, you’ll translate issues into concrete actions and clear documentation,

Qualifications

• Experience using SQL to extract, update and manipulate data with care and accuracy.
• Ability to investigate data issues, identify root causes and follow problems through to resolution.
• A proactive, improvement-minded approach to solving problems and refining processes.
• Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage structured, detail-focused work effectively.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with confidence working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
• An eagerness to learn, develop and build capability within a data-focused football environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data updates, quality checks and troubleshooting using admin tools and SQL.
• Maintain clean, dependable records and support process improvements.
