Job summary

Recruit4Staff is representing a leading engineering company in its search for a Junior Sales Representative based in Telford. The role offers on-the-job training, a pathway to permanent employment, and opportunities for progression.

You will work with experienced colleagues, handle inbound enquiries, prepare technical quotes, and develop relationships with customers while supporting related marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Interested in developing a career in Sales.
• Comfortable learning about engineering products and their applications.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or Construction would be beneficial.
• Confident IT skills and using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound sales enquiries and establishing customer requirements.
• Preparing quotes/proposals and submitting them within agreed timescales.
• Following up on quotes and maximising orders.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Guiding customers on suitable products and processing sales orders.

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Junior Sales Representative to work for a leading company who are located in Telford.

For the successful Junior Sales Representative our client is offering:

• Temporary to Permanent position
• Days based role - 8:30am-5pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays
• Great entry level opportunity with on the job training provided
• Opportunities for progression
• Opportunities to travel as part of the role

The Role - Junior Sales Representative:

• Initially working alongside experienced Sales/Engineering colleagues who will provide on the job training
• Dealing with inbound Sales enquiries and establishing customer requirements
• Preparing technical quotes / proposals
• Submitting quotes within agreed timescales
• Following up on quotes that have been sent, trying to maximise quotes into orders
• Develop and maintain relationships with current/prospective customers
• Guiding customers on suitable products
• Processing of sales orders / preparation of relevant documents
• Liaise with departments internally ensuring customer orders are fully communicated & understood
• Support with marketing related activities
• Maintain accurate records
