Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Northampton is seeking a Junior Sales Person (MSP / Cyber Security) to build a portfolio of public sector accounts. You will drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with uncapped commission and a base salary of £25,000 with OTE £60,000.

The role is Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm with hybrid work after 6 months, offers training and progression within a friendly, family-like team. Prior MSP/cyber security or IT sales experience is preferred.

Are you a Junior Sales Person from a MSP / Cyber Security background, looking for an autonomous role within a laid back, family feel like business where you can earn North of £60,000?

This dynamic IT company supply Hardware, Software and various other services into a variety of different industries along with public sector organisations, proving rapid growth while currently turning over an impressive £1.5 Million a year.

In this autonomous role, you will be in charge of building a portfolio of public sector accounts, building strong relationships with key decision-makers in schools, colleges, universities, and government organisations. You'll drive the full sales cycle, from winning new business, to closing deals, while earning uncapped commission and progressing your career.

This role:

• Business development and lead generation


• Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with a early finish at 4:00pm on Fridays


• Managing portfolios, closing deals and winning new business through cold/warm approach


• Collaborate with the wider sales team to influence strategy and grow pipelines

The Person:

• Experience in sales, ideally with public sector exposure


• Commutable to Northampton
