Job summary

Slater + Gordon in Manchester is seeking a Junior Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team. The role focuses on managing relationships with unions, CMCs, membership organisations and other partners, while supporting budgeting and administrative tasks related to marketing merchandise.

You will also help manage portfolios, plan events, liaise with third-party organisers and ensure invoices enter our payment process promptly, with guidance from your line manager.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have strong relationship-building skills and be able to work in a busy business development environment.
• Ability to coordinate administrative tasks and manage budgets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with unions, CMCs, and professional bodies.
• Oversee stock, logistics and budget spend for the marketing merchandise supplier.
• Support BD team with purchase orders and supplier invoice processing.
• Portfolio management and event organisation, including liaising with third-party organisers.
• Coordinate merchandise and events budgets with guidance from line manager.
