Job summary

Global Payments in Manchester is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Solution Design & Programme Delivery team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will coordinate projects from planning through delivery, translating priorities into clear plans and milestones.

You’ll work with Product, Technology, Sales, Operations and Service teams to align activities and monitor risks, with a focus on delivering business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Awareness of project management standards and methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, PDLC).
• Experience organizing project plans, schedules, actions, decisions, deliverables and resources.
• Good understanding of timelines, risks, budgets, quality and governance in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning through delivery and closure, keeping scope, timelines and quality visible.
• Translate priorities into clear delivery plans, milestones and next steps.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Sales, Operations and Service teams to align activities and dependencies.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions and change requests; escalate early when needed.
• Prepare updates using KPIs, benefits, budget and change control information to show progress.
• Contribute to delivery templates, process improvements, launch readiness and lessons learned.
