Job summary

Firstco is seeking a Junior Project Controller to join its PMO in the United Kingdom. You will assist Project Managers with data gathering, inputting information into internal systems, and monitoring project performance against milestones. This is a full-time role with opportunities to grow within a regulated environment.

No prior Project Controller experience is required; however, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently with guidance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A high level of written English proficiency.
• A high level of competence in MS Office.
• Demonstrate the capacity to work effectively and build relationships within a team environment.
• A diligent attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to self-manage with high level organisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work).

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and scheduling, helping maintain project programs and tracking progress against key milestones.
• Assist with resource planning and forecasting, monitoring labour, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Support the preparation of project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor change control processes, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule changes are properly documented and approved.
• Support compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality management standards.
• Identify and elevate potential schedule delays, cost overruns, or resource constraints to senior project controls personnel.
• Support the receipt, issue and control of project documentation.
