• Chartered Engineer/incorporated or working towards and engaged in CPD.
• Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Regulations, COMAH, COSHH, DSEAR.
• Understanding of Construction & Design Management Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mass, energy, and flow balance calculations.

About the role

As a Junior Process Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of identified Process Engineering deliverables across one or more projects.

Delivering project requirements individually (under the supervision of a Principal or Senior Process Engineer) or as a member of a multi-discipline team.

You will report to the Principal Process Engineer and be located at Springfields.

Responsibilities

• Production of Process drawings: Process Flow Diagrams and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams/Engineering Flow Diagrams.
• Production of calculations including mass, energy and flow balances, pipe and equipment sizing utilising MS Excel, MathCAD, Pipenet, Aspen Custom Modeler or other software as required.
• Production of technical documents such as Basis of Design, Testing Strategies/Schedules, Method Statements etc.
• Participation in design meetings and technical reviews and presentation of technical solutions.

Qualifications

• · MEng prefferred
• Chartered Engineer/incorporated or working towards and engaged on a programme of Continual Professional Development.
• Working knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and directives and how they should be applied including (but not limited to) Pressure Equipment Regulations, COMAH, COSHH, DSEAR etc.
• An appreciation and understanding of the Construction & Design Management Regulations.
• Basic understanding of the process contribution to safety case development.
