Job Description

We have an urgent opening for a Junior PMO Analyst for a permanent position based in Crawley, England.

Role:

1. Must have experience of working with/in Finance department within Major IT delivery business.
2. Must have 5 years experience in maintaining IT Portfolio/Project/Special Tasks (i.e. Small Projects) Budgets & monthly expenditures.
3. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience of working with SAP Financial software.
4. Used to completing financial cost control activities against formal processes across full end to end IT delivery life-cycle.
5. Experience of Validating Project/Special Task Costs and Expenses on a monthly basis.
6. Experienced in Forecasting and Monitoring all Project/Special Task Costs & expenses vs. the approved Project/Special Task Budgets and Contract amounts on a monthly basis.
7. Able to Analyse Project/Special Task Costs & Expenses and provide Financial status reports on a monthly basis.
8. Aware of Benefit Management with experience of drafting Benefits reports to Project Sponsors once projects “live”.
9. Used to Maintaining/Updating Project Portfolio Change Register.
10. Used to Collating monthly Time Recording details from PMs across all projects on a monthly basis.
11. Carry out financial elements only of “Project Closure” working with Finance.

Benefits Management

1. Compile Earned Value Trends on a quarterly basis.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Holds at least 5 years experience in Financial Cost Control Management within a leading IT delivery business.
2. Must be familiar with Project cost management duties in a variety of roles/levels.
3. Must be familiar with use of SAP Finance software set up and related operational activities (Opex).
4. Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
5. Must be experienced in drafting Portfolio/Project Cost Control processes for guidance and working with Corporate Financial Management.
6. Must be experienced in IT Project cost estimating practices.

Tools:

1. SAP Finance Modules (SAP v 7.04 preferred).
2. Good/Excellent in MS Excel (including pivot tables) and MS Office Suite skills - including PowerPoint.
