Job summary

One Big Circle in Bristol is seeking a junior software developer to join a fast-growing team building a 4PB+ data platform. You will help create and test software, learn from senior engineers, and take on more responsibility over time.

This is a full-time, office-based role offering a salary of £31,500–£59,500 per year and a supportive, social working environment. You should have a strong interest in software development, familiarity with at least one programming language, and be open to

Qualifications

Strong interest in software development and data processing.
Curiosity, reliability and willingness to learn from mistakes.
No formal software work experience required; demonstrate interest via personal project or activity.
Familiarity with at least one general-purpose programming language.
Successful applicants must pass a BPSS check.

Responsibilities

Help create and test software as part of our skilled team.
Learn current and new technologies from experienced engineers.
Take on increasing responsibility for project elements.
Build new capabilities into our broad-ranging, scalable data platform with guidance from seniors.
Contribute ideas to business development and social activities.
