Job summary

One Big Circle Ltd in Bristol is seeking Software Engineers at mid to senior levels to join our expanding software team. You will work across embedded systems, cloud services, and ML components to deliver reliable, high-performance software deployed in real-world environments.

The role offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) with a salary range of £36,000 to £70,000, commensurate with experience, and a benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience at mid level or senior level.
• Experience across embedded/Linux, cloud, and ML related projects desired.
• Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
• Contribute to system design and technical decision-making within the team.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to achieve system integration.
• Take ownership of features, projects, or technical areas.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with in-service systems and data.
• Contribute to code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
• Support continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and system reliability.
