SRG Junior Operations Analyst
SRG is seeking a Junior Operations Analyst for a leading multinational consumer goods and personal care company specializing in paper-based products. This role involves providing operational financial support to the mill, including daily and monthly processing of financial requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Finance & Operations
- Ensure production is reconciled before stock take adjustments and perform weekly/monthly financial processing for paper mill and finishing production.
- Update scheduled hours in SAP prior to financial processing.
- Support mill operations with reports on efficiencies, output rates, and performance analysis.
- Follow financial processes related to material management, supporting planning and operations teams.
- Coordinate and compile month-end and accounting processes with finance and operations teams.
- Generate mill performance reports at month-end, including efficiency, output, and cost analysis.
- Understand all site processes and serve as a site expert in P2020 reporting guidelines.
- Support the PSA role for holidays and sickness cover.
Mill Systems
- Act as a key user and SME for site systems like PIMS, SAP, and TekTerm.
- Manage PIMS reports aligning with P2020 requirements.
- Support data management on SharePoint and develop reports to meet departmental objectives.
Internal Control
- Implement and maintain financial policies and controls.
- Perform routine controls and compliance testing.
- Identify control issues and collaborate with Internal Control Specialists for resolution.
- Document procedures and update control logs.
Planning
- Support RFS cycle design and updates, communicating effectively with the site.
- Build relationships with site leadership for planning support.
Site Access
- Manage system access for folders, SAP, and catalogs.
- Conduct user access reviews.
Accounts Payable
- Support AP queries and facilitate payments.
- Assist the purchasing team with knowledge and communication.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 'A' Level education or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience is desirable.
Technical/Professional Skills
- Proficiency in Excel essential.
- SAP experience desirable.
- Willingness to work towards a professional qualification like CIMA or AAT preferred.
