Job summary

International firm is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Projects, Development & Construction team in London. The role targets NQ–2 PQE construction lawyers with non-contentious focus, advising across procurement, contracting and project delivery.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of development and infrastructure matters, including energy, regeneration and major projects, for developers, investors and funders.

Qualifications

• NQ–2 PQE construction lawyer required.
• Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales.
• Trained or experienced in construction, projects or housing/development.
• Primarily experienced in non-contentious construction.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating construction and development agreements.
• Procurement strategy and contracting negotiations.
• Construction due diligence and project documentation.
• Advising on standard form and bespoke construction contracts.
• Handling construction appointments and consultant agreements.
• Involvement in joint ventures and large-scale regeneration projects.
• Advising on risk allocation and project delivery.
