Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Non-Conformance Design Engineer to join our aerospace and defence team. You will investigate and assess non-conformances on gas turbine engine components, collaborating across engineering disciplines to develop safe, compliant, and robust design solutions.

You will analyse manufacturing and service-related issues, build engineering dispositions through evaluations and calculations, and support cost-effective solutions while expanding your knowledge of gas

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or relevant industry experience, with aerospace and defence experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles, product lifecycles, technical drawings, and engineering assessments.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working accurately to tight deadlines while maintaining compliance with export control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and investigate non-conformances per design intent, safety, airworthiness and quality.
• Develop dispositions through evaluations and collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, and Materials teams.
• Support practical, cost-effective solutions while expanding knowledge of gas turbine design, materials and repair technologies.
