Job summary

Capgemini is recruiting a Non-Conformance Design Engineer to join our aerospace and defence team in the UK. You will investigate non-conformances on gas turbine engine components, evaluate design safety and airworthiness, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress and Materials to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, ability to interpret engineering data, and experience working across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering data interpretation and judgement applied to non-conformances.
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress and Materials teams.
• Proactive team player with clear communication under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess and investigate manufacturing and service-related non-conformances.
• Develop dispositions through technical evaluations, calculations and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Support cost-effective design solutions while expanding knowledge of gas turbine engine design and repair technologies.
