Swoop Recruitment is looking for a Junior Mortgage Broker to join its Mayfair team. After CeMAP and exposure to the mortgage market, you’ll help support brokers, learn lender criteria, and manage cases for high-net-worth clients across the UK and Europe.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a specialist market while developing client-facing skills. You'll start in a busy, commercially focused environment with a week induction and clear progression to more senior roles.
Qualified, ambitious and ready to build your career in mortgage broking?
If you've recently completed CeMAP, gained some exposure to the mortgage market and are keen to turn that foundation into a successful career, this could be an exciting next step.
We're working with an established international high-net-worth mortgage brokerage looking for an ambitious Junior Mortgage Broker to join its Mayfair team.
The business works with affluent clients with property interests across the UK and Europe, arranging bespoke financing solutions across a range of property requirements. With established marketing, a strong returning-client database and quality inbound enquiries, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialist market while learning alongside experienced brokers.
This isn't a classroom-based training programme. You'll be joining a busy, commercially focused environment where you'll learn by getting involved, observing experienced brokers, asking questions and taking ownership of your development. You'll need to be proactive, quick to absorb information and comfortable building your knowledge as you go.
For the right person, it's an opportunity to establish yourself in a specialist area of mortgage finance, develop your client-facing skills and build towards a more senior, commercially rewarding role.
You’ll gain exposure to the full mortgage process, from understanding a client's requirements and researching suitable lenders through to packaging applications and managing cases towards completion.
Initially, you’ll support experienced brokers and develop your technical knowledge, gradually taking on more responsibility as your competence grows. You’ll learn how to assess client circumstances, understand lender requirements, identify suitable solutions and keep transactions moving.
The role offers exposure to residential mortgages, buy-to-let and bridging finance, alongside the wider world of high-net-worth property finance.
You’ll have colleagues around you to learn from, but this opportunity is best suited to someone who takes the initiative, seeks out answers and applies what they learn rather than waiting for every step to be explained.
You may already be working in a mortgage administration, case management or junior advisory role and feel ready for greater exposure to clients and the commercial side of the business. Or you may have recently qualified and be looking for an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice in a more specialist market.
What matters most is that you’ve built a foundation, are hungry to learn and are ready to take responsibility for your own development.
