Job summary

Swoop Recruitment is looking for a Junior Mortgage Broker to join its Mayfair team. After CeMAP and exposure to the mortgage market, you’ll help support brokers, learn lender criteria, and manage cases for high-net-worth clients across the UK and Europe.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a specialist market while developing client-facing skills. You'll start in a busy, commercially focused environment with a week induction and clear progression to more senior roles.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualified, ideally recent.
• Some exposure to mortgages or financial services.
• Genuine interest in building a long-term mortgage broking career.
• Able to absorb information quickly and work independently.
• Proactive and resourceful with a questions-driven approach.
• Commercial ambition and desire to develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support experienced brokers with mortgage enquiries and client requirements.
• Research lender criteria and suitable mortgage products.
• Gather and review payslips, bank statements, tax information and credit reports.
• Assist with preparing and packaging mortgage applications to ensure completeness.
• Liaise with clients, lenders and solicitors to progress cases.
• Maintain accurate client records and case notes per compliance.
