Job summary

WolfStone Recruitment is seeking a proactive Assistant Merchandiser to join our growing retail team in Leeds. You will support stock planning and forecasting to maximise sales opportunities, ensuring product availability and timely launches.

You will analyse weekly performance, propose improvements, and present KPI reports. This role demands analytical thinking, communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser.
• Understanding of forecasting, stock management and supply chain processes.
• Commercially driven, analytical, and passionate about product.
• Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the critical path, ensuring new product launches progress smoothly and on schedule.
• Manage Line Cards and OTB.
• Monitor products each week, ensuring stock availability.
• Review sales performance and make recommendations.
• Continually assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend weekly promotions and markdown.
• Prepare and present KPI Reports.
