Rise Resourcing is recruiting a Merchandiser for a retailer based in Leeds. You will collaborate with buying to drive strategy for future seasons and plan WSSI proposals by season for all markets, ensuring stock is optimised.

You will build strong relationships with internal teams to develop and optimise product lines, review daily and weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks, and manage stock to support sales while preventing obsolescence.

Formación

• Experience in Retail Merchandising, at a Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser level.
• Excellent communication and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong numeracy and ability to analyse data from various sources.
• Commercial awareness and business focus.
• Capability to manage and motivate a team to achieve goals.
• Excellent understanding of MS Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Deal with escalated central merchandise queries and provide resolution.
• Collate figures and update the senior Management team regularly.

I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join a retailer based in Leeds.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

• Working collaboratively with buying to drive strategy for future seasons collections.
• Planning & preparing WSSI proposals for each department by season for all markets.
• Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
• Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
• Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
• Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries
• Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly

Key requirement for the role;

• Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment, at a Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser title.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
• Commercially aware and business focussed.
• Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
• Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
