All Space Limited in Reading seeks a Materials Controller to oversee receipt, storage, control and distribution of materials, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment. You will work with ERP/WMS systems, perform stock counts, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support uninterrupted operations.

The role requires attention to compliance with procedures and health & safety standards, with occasional base at the Thatcham Third-Party Logistics provider.

Qualificações

• Forklift experience would be great, but not essential.
• Proficient computer literacy is required.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Label, store and organize stock in designated locations.
• Pick, pack and issue materials to internal departments or customers.
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system-based).
• Update inventory systems (ERP/WMS) as required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock audits.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock to supervisors.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, including hazardous items if applicable.
• Keep the store/warehouse clean, organized and safe.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) where licensed.
• Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with returns, damaged goods processing, and disposal procedures.

Additional Notes

This role requires flexibility of working location and will occasionally need to be based at the Third-Party Logistics Provider at Thatcham.

Please note - This is a full time contract position, with the potential of going permanent in the future.
