Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer for a large automated cold-storage facility in Grantham on a two-month rolling contract.

The role involves operating automated conveyor systems and working in temperatures around -40°C, with full PPE provided. You will work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) with a pattern of two day shifts, then three nights, then days off, and other rosters as needed.

Competenze

• Experience in warehousing, production or machine operation.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Comfortable working in extreme cold (-40°C).
• Comfortable working at heights up to 42 metres.
• Full PPE and safety procedures follow-through.

Mansioni

• Operate and monitor automated conveyor systems and related warehouse equipment.
• Respond to basic system stoppages, alarms and operational issues.
• Identify common problems and follow procedures to resolve them.
• Reset equipment where trained and authorised to do so.
• Work safely around automated crane aisles, conveyors and other machinery.
• Work at heights of up to 42 metres when required.
• Comply with all site health and safety procedures.
