Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Grantham is recruiting eight Machine Operatives for a temperature-controlled, automated warehouse. The role requires operating and monitoring conveyor systems in a -40°C environment with full PPE provided, enabling safe handling of automated machinery.

Shifts rotate 12 hours (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am). Training will cover conveyors, fault response and safety around automated equipment. A two-month rolling contract applies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing, production or machine operation.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Comfortable working in extreme cold with full PPE.
• Willing to undertake all required training and follow site procedures.
• Confident working at heights and around automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated conveyor systems and related warehouse equipment.
• Respond to basic system stoppages, alarms and operational issues.
• Identify common problems and follow procedures to resolve them.
• Reset equipment where trained and authorised to do so.
• Work safely around automated crane aisles, conveyors and machinery.
• Work at heights up to 42 metres when required.
• Comply with site health and safety procedures.
