Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Grantham is recruiting eight reliable Machine Operatives for a two-month rolling contract at £24.66 per hour.

The role involves rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) in a large automated cold-storage facility. Candidates should have warehouse, production or machine-operating experience, be comfortable working in -40°C with full PPE, and willing to undertake all required training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing, production or machine operation.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Comfort working in extreme cold while wearing PPE.
• Confident working at heights up to 42 metres.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor automated conveyor systems and warehouse equipment.
• Respond to basic system stoppages, alarms and operational issues.
• Identify and resolve issues like sensors being obstructed or jams.
• Reset equipment where trained and authorised to do so.
• Work safely around automated crane aisles, conveyors and machinery.
• Work at heights up to 42 metres when required.
• Comply with all site health and safety procedures.
