Job summary

HelloFresh in Derby, UK is seeking a Junior Engineer to fix, maintain and improve our site equipment, ensuring reliable operation at all times. The role is hands-on, performing reactive and preventative maintenance across the site and reporting defects in CMMS while adhering to health and safety rules.

You'll carry out planned maintenance on automated conveyors, refrigeration plant and related systems, supervise contractors, and provide rapid breakdown support.

Qualifications

• PPM on plant and equipment including automated conveying systems.
• Rectify defects and record actions in maintenance manual and CMMS.
• Condu ct minor structural and electrical improvement works.
• Provide reactive support including breakdown response.
• Supervise contractors to ensure work meets the specification.
• Follow health and safety rules on site.
• Experience with CMMS or similar systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and equipment.
• Identify defects arising during PPM and undertake rectifications.
• Conduct minor structural and electrical improvement works.
• Provide reactive support including breakdown response.
• Supervise contractors to ensure works meet specification.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements on site.
• Coordinate with maintenance shift manager on task status.
• Flag low stock levels and manage CMMS entries.
