Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a Junior Key Accounts Coordinator to join our Bradford team. You will support a portfolio of key customers and gradually take ownership of day‑to‑day freight movements, ensuring accurate bookings, documentation, and updates in CargoWise.

The role offers a hands-on learning path in freight forwarding, with opportunities to develop customer service and operational skills in import/export processes.

Qualifications

• Good level of Maths & English.
• Industry qualifications as agreed with line manager.
• Experience in commercial environment or similar role required.
• Experience in import/export freight forwarding advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer bookings and enquiries.
• Support Sea Freight Export shipments.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents.
• Prepare and check shipping documentation.
• Produce Bills of Lading.
• Update shipment information in CargoWise.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout.

Location: Bradford
Salary: Circa £28,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

You'll support a portfolio of key customers and gradually take ownership of day‑to‑day freight movements, including:

• Handling customer bookings and enquiries
• Supporting Sea Freight Export shipments
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
• Preparing and checking shipping documentation
• Producing Bills of Lading
• Updating shipment information within CargoWise
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout

About You

Previous freight forwarding experience would be advantageous, particularly within Sea Freight Exports, but this role could also suit a strong trainee/junior candidate with the right attitude and desire to learn.

You’ll be organised, confident communicating with customers and keen to develop within a supportive freight forwarding environment.

Qualifications

• Industry-related qualifications as agreed with your line manager
• Previous experience of working in a commercial environment or in a similar position is required.
• Experience of working in import/export freight forwarding would be a distinct advantage.
