You’ll join an onsite team in Birmingham, working with Java, SQL, and Spring Boot in an agile setting. The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and career progression, with relocation support if needed and a starting salary of £26,700.

Qualifications

• Bootcamp/apprenticeship or STEM graduate with passion for software development.
• Based in Birmingham or willing to relocate and onsite 5 days per week.
• Some Java development experience (academic, commercial, or personal projects).
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to Python for scripting or automation.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS cloud services.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java as core language.
• Work on backend services and integrate with SQL databases.
• Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior team members.
