Job summary

Con Ed Ltd in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to deliver on-site and remote IT assistance for local primary schools.

You will install hardware, diagnose faults, manage networks, and support staff across several sites, travelling 2–3 schools daily during term time. Some work can be carried out from home.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of IT support for local primary schools.
• Onsite, remote and phone/email support as required.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks; install and configure hardware.
• Diagnose hardware and software faults and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Visit 2 to 3 schools daily during term time; some work from home.
• Open to term-time working; salary pro-rata when applicable.
