Job summary

Chiltern Park Recruitment in the United Kingdom seeks a recent computing graduate or 1-2 years IT support professional to join a small, collaborative IT team. You will tackle first-line IT issues and help maintain devices across the business.

You will manage Microsoft 365/Intune, user accounts, and assist with AI-enabled projects, under the guidance of the Head of IT in a hybrid, full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support across the business, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions and access requests.
• Install software and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain IT documentation and asset registers.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives and device security.
• Liaise with third-party IT suppliers.
• Assist with IT procurement and equipment deployment.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies.

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a recent graduate in Computing, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or someone with 1-2 years of experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role.
• We want someone with enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine passion for technology.
• We are looking for interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
• We want someone who is friendly, approachable and confident communicating with colleagues at all levels.
• Ideally, you will have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune, along with basic networking principles.
• Experience with PowerShell or Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Google Workspace or Google Cloud Platform, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Perplexity would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Linux command line would be advantageous.
• Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
