Job summary

YourRecruit in Camden Town, United Kingdom, is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to drive internal automation and data-driven service improvements. You will build and maintain automation across RMM/PSA systems, develop APIs, and create Power BI dashboards to monitor service delivery, client health and financial performance.

You will work with AI tools like Copilot and Foundry, explore data from multiple sources, and contribute to AI initiatives from ideation through deployment, while documenting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Apps.
• Some experience with Python and/or PowerShell.
• An interest in data analysis and working with different data sources.
• Some experience with Power BI.
• A genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technology.
• The ability to understand and work with APIs and integrations, or a willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions, investigate problems and find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing PIA, our internal AI automation tool, helping improve service desk efficiency.
• Building and maintaining automation across RMM and PSA platforms including N-able, ConnectWise and Halo.
• Investigating and developing APIs and integrations between internal and client-facing systems.
• Working with data from multiple platforms to clean, reconcile and analyse information.
• Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports covering service delivery, client health and financial performance.
• Identifying opportunities where AI and automation can save time, improve processes or enhance the client experience.
• Using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Microsoft Foundry to develop practical, business-focused solutions.
• Supporting AI projects from the initial idea and requirements gathering through to development, testing and implementation.
• Creating clear documentation so that solutions can be understood, maintained and developed further.
• Measuring the operational and commercial impact of the automations you deliver.

We are a growing Managed Service Provider based in Camden, offering a hybrid working setup for our AI Automation Engineer role. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the future of AI and automation within our business, working alongside an experienced technical team on our internal AI automation platform and client-focused solutions. We offer weekly formal training, monthly get-togethers and office lunches, a health insurance discount, company social outings, and an extra day of paid holiday for each year of service, alongside a Monday to Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week with shift patterns between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
