JUNIOR INSIGHT ANALYST

London/Hybrid - Customer Success Team

ABOUT THIS JOB

Our Analysts are vital to NielsenIQ’s success. They work daily with our client base, including major brands, supermarkets, and retailers. If you saw it during your last shopping trip, they likely work with NielsenIQ.

Our clients present challenges like new product development, pricing strategies, and more. NielsenIQ’s Analysts create and present analyses based on top datasets, supporting clients in Health and Beauty, Beers, Wine and Spirits, or Grocery sectors.

We seek confident individuals who craft compelling insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to help clients grow. Establishing strong relationships with clients and colleagues is key. You will understand client needs and develop solutions to meet their strategic goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Understand client business priorities and how we support them (e.g., brand planning, range reviews).
  2. Recognize how our work impacts individual client objectives.
  3. Set up client onboarding for analytics and insights services, and conduct tactical training on tools like Connect Express and Discover.
  4. Identify sales opportunities through daily client engagement and pass these to the Account Development team.

QUALIFICATIONS

This role suits recent graduates or individuals with around 2 years of experience who demonstrate the following:

Essential:

  • A numerate degree or equivalent, demonstrating confidence with numbers.
  • Ability to analyze data confidently.
  • Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Attention to detail for accurate work.
  • Engaging storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an analytical environment.
  • Knowledge of the FMCG industry and trends.
  • Understanding of the UK retail landscape.
  • UK Driving license.
