Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Assistant Information Manager in the Buildings Unit. This entry-level role supports information management and BIM processes across projects and gains mentoring from senior professionals.

You will work with CDEs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise and SharePoint, contributing to standards, governance, and reporting while developing core digital delivery skills.

Qualifications

• Essential: graduate, placement, apprentice, or project support experience.
• Degree or equivalent in Information Management, BIM, Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of Information Management and BIM concepts.
• Familiarity with Common Data Environments and digital collaboration platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Information Managers in implementing Information Management and BIM projects.
• Prepare, coordinate and maintain project information management documentation.
• Administer CDEs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise and SharePoint.
• Assist project teams with information management queries and system usage.
• Support information quality checks and compliance monitoring.
• Produce simple reports and dashboards to support digital delivery objectives.
• Contribute to updating information management standards, templates and guidance.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and digital project teams.
• Support data collection and analysis of project performance metrics.
• Participate in training to develop Information Management and BIM capabilities.
