Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Assistant Information Manager in the Buildings Unit to support information management and BIM processes across projects in the UK. The role offers mentoring from senior Information Managers and exposure to digital delivery, governance, reporting, and information assurance activities.

You will gain practical experience on multidisciplinary projects, with a pathway into permanent Information Management roles in a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent in Information Management, BIM, Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Digital Delivery, or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of Information Management and BIM concepts.
• Awareness of Common Data Environments and digital collaboration platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Awareness of ISO 19650 principles and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Information Managers in implementation and delivery of Information Management and BIM project opportunities.
• Assist with preparation, coordination, and maintenance of project information management documentation.
• Help administer CDEs such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.
• Support project teams with information management queries and system usage.
• Assist with information quality checks and compliance monitoring.
• Produce simple reports and dashboards to support project teams and digital delivery objectives.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of information management standards, templates, and guidance.
• Work collaboratively with project stakeholders and other Digital/Project teams.
• Support collection and analysis of project data and performance metrics.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to build Information Management and BIM capability.
