About The Role

As a Junior Comms Designer at Stakemate, you’ll play a key role within our marketing team, working closely with our Lead Product Designer / Art Director and Marketing Director to bring our brand to life across paid social ads, email marketing, in-app experiences, and beyond. You’ll build on our existing templates and brand guidelines to create compelling, high-impact visual content that resonates with our users.

You’ll have the chance to get hands-on experience in content creation, develop your design skills in a fast-paced environment, and grow alongside a supportive, ambitious team.

Core Duties And Responsibilities

• Create engaging visuals for social ads, email marketing, and in-app banners by using and evolving our existing brand templates.
• Iterate on creative work based on qualitative and quantitative feedback from the wider marketing team.
• Maintain brand consistency while expanding the design system through new templates and scalable assets.
• Support video content production (Reels, TikToks, UGC, CGC) by designing banners, graphics, and overlays that enrich short-form content.
• Collaborate with marketers, product managers, and creatives to bring ideas to life with user-first design.
  
  

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• 0-3 Years Experience as a junior designer working on user-facing creatives.
• Prior experience with Figma or Sketch.
• Basic understanding of marketing, and best practices in marketing content.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively among a cross functional team.
• Self-starter mentality with a high sense of ownership and work ethic.
• Eagerness to grow fast, experiment, and learn as part of a nimble team.
  
  

Nice-To-Haves

• Interest in sports, specifically football, or sports betting is a plus.
• Interest or experience in video editing, videography and creating TikToks or Reels using tools such as CapCut is a plus.
• Experience in a high-growth tech environment is a nice-to-have.
• Curiosity about UI/UX or branding — we love designers who want to grow in different directions!

Work Arrangements

At Stakemate, we believe that building a strong team culture is as crucial as innovating in the sports betting market. You will be a part of our London team and expected to come into our office 3 days a week, located at 79-81 Borough Rd in SE1.

Interview Process

• Intro Call – 30 min call on intro to Stakemate and to understand your background.
• Take-Home Task – A 1-hour design exercise to see your creative thinking in action.
• Portfolio and Task Review – 30 min call with our Lead Product Designer to go through your task, experience and portfolio.
• Team Visit – An in-office meetup with the wider team to experience our culture firsthand.
