Job summary

Islamic Relief UK is recruiting a Junior Fundraiser to support regional fundraising activities across Birmingham and other regions. The role focuses on engaging communities, volunteers and supporters to raise essential funds for humanitarian work.

You will assist with events, campaigns and donor engagement, ensuring supporters have a great experience while helping the team hit regional fundraising targets. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of the local region and community.
• Experience delivering support contributing to organisational objectives.
• Well-developed organisational skills to coordinate events and activities while managing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, including speaking, presenting, listening and writing.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and sensitively.
• Represent Islamic Relief professionally across events and engagements.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and fundraising activities.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Office.
