Job summary

Noble Recruiting is seeking a Junior/Trainee Freight Export Operator to join our Essex-based export team in West Thurrock. This permanent, full-time office role offers hands-on training, starting by supporting experienced operators with shipping documentation, paperwork chasing and record-keeping.

As you learn, you will take on more tasks, potentially steering your own trade lane in time, while maintaining accurate shipment details and responding to customer and agent inquiries by phone and

Qualifications

Interest in learning freight forwarding and shipping.
Exposure to freight, shipping, logistics or import/export is a plus.
Office, admin, or customer service experience.
Detail-oriented and accurate — getting information right first time.
Organised and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

Support experienced operators on the desk with shipping documentation.
Chase paperwork and keep shipment records up to date.
Assist the documentation supervisor with tasks.
Progress to handling own trade lane as you learn.
General support to the export team.
Answer queries from customers and overseas agents by phone and email.
