Job summary

Streamline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established logistics business for a Junior Export Operator to join the export team. You will learn how export shipments are managed, support day-to-day administration, and work alongside experienced operators in a busy office environment.

As you gain knowledge, you may take on more responsibility and progress toward managing shipments with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Curious and eager to learn about freight forwarding and export operations.
• Confident to ask questions when unsure and follow processes.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and suppliers in a busy office.

Responsibilities

• Support the export team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
• Direct customer and supplier queries to the appropriate team member.
• Keep shipment information accurate and up to date.
• Chase customers, suppliers and others for required documents.
• Prepare, file and maintain shipment paperwork.
• Keep electronic and physical records organised.
• Assist with documentation and other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Answer customer and overseas agent queries by phone and email.
