The role is mainly field-based, though you will also help with occasional workshop tasks and contribute to equipment care, installations, and troubleshooting. You will receive full onboarding, followed by hands‑on training and regular upskilling to help you develop and progress in the role.

You’ll be guided by our Workshop and Senior Field Technician's in London and supported by our wider Technical team – with a company van provided for work use.

  • Support the installation and maintenance of water filtration systems at customer sites, ensuring equipment performs reliably and efficiently.

  • Carry out planned maintenance visits and assist with reactive service calls, helping to diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.

  • Manage stock movements through our service management app, maintaining accurate records of parts used and stock levels.

  • Keep your service van clean, organised, well‑stocked, and ready for daily operations.

  • Work closely with the Technical Service Coordinator to ensure jobs are scheduled efficiently and the correct parts are available.

  • Complete service records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Deliver excellent customer service, communicating professionally and representing Origin positively at all customer sites.

  • Support workshop operations and goods‑in/goods‑out activities when required.

  • Safely use hand tools and equipment on a daily basis, undertaking manual handling and lifting as part of the role.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, both in the workshop and on customer premises.

  • Follow company SOPs, health & safety procedures, and industry best practices at all times.
